Karen L Brown
Graphic Designer/Artist

Karen L. BrownWEBKaren is the consummate re-entry student, who believes in the power of motivation, life long learning and personal responsibility.  Although none of her advanced degrees are in art, the arts have always played an important role in her life.  Throughout her career as a Health Education Professor and Recreation Therapist, she has incorporated her love for design.  She used the arts with children and adults in community settings and with special populations in institutional settings.

Karen’s involvement with the arts bloomed during her semi retirement years.  She is active within the Ventura art community and plays an important role as the graphic designer for Ribbons of Life.
